LAURIE AND JENNY WANT THE SAME MAN ON TITANS
Soap Opera Weekly/Tony Calega
LAURIE FIND HERSELF ATTRACTED TO PULSE’S manager, David O’Connor, this week on
Titans. The problem is David is her sister, Jenny’s, new boyfriend. Last week, Jenny and David got closer at Heather’s doozy of a diner party. Now, David has caught Laurie’s eye, and threatens to shatter the sexy blonde’s icy facade. “Laurie has a huge crush on him,” explains her portrayer, Josie Davis. “One minute, I’m all business, and an ice queen, and then suddenly I see Ingo (Rademacher, David), and I just melt. I’m just a mess: I’m nervous, I’m shuttering…”
Davis reveals that most of Laurie and David’s scenes are in the romantic-comedy vein. “The stuff that Chuck (Pratt,
Titans‘ creator/executive producer/writer) has written is so rich and three-dimensional,” she says.
Later in the episode, Laurie bristles with jealousy when she catches Jenny and David in a passionate kiss. “Laurie is a control freak, but when it comes to men, she’s scared to death,” Davis says. “Jenny is the complete opposite – she gets with men pretty quickly. So, Laurie’s very jealous in that way.”
Elsewere, Chandler is torn between his lingering feelings for Heather and his new ones for Samantha. He inevitably cancels a date with a disappointed Samantha, and sparks are further reignited between him and Heather when they hear their baby’s heartbeat for the first time.
Peter, meanwhile, is becoming more and more suspicious of Chandler’s more than familial interest in Heather; he confronts Heather about her relationship with his brother. Will Heather, who’s backed into a corner, reveal that her new son-in-law is also the father of her unborn child?
