What I Wish For The ’90s
(incomplete)
Ten Top Teen Stars Share Their Hopes And Wishes For How They Would Like To See The World Change In The New Decade!
KEVIN TELLES
Former Bronx Zoo actor, now recurring as the “jock” Peterson in Life Goes On: “What I’d like to see in the ’90s is peace on earth and environmental respect. I’d also like to see things straightened out in South Africa – quickly! And I have a motto for the ’90s – don’t let anyone put down your dreams; one day, it could be reality.”
JOSIE DAVIS
Sweet-natured Sarah Powell on Charles In Charge and recent guest star on A Peaceable Kingdom: “I’d like people to be more God-intended in our coming decade. That includes being kind and considerate and not stepping on other people. What we should really all learn to do in the ’90s is to love our neighbors.”
DANNY NUCCI
Falcon Crest alumnus making his motion picture debut as the kooky “Spider” in Jack In The Box (from New Line Cinema): “I’d like to see some changes in our government and the way our so-called leaders run our country. There are just too many self-serving types who are only interested in how much power and money they can amass, rather than serving the people, which is in theory why they run for office in the first place. It’s more like, ‘How can I make points with Big Business or the National Rifle Association?’. The politicians don’t give a damn about the poor or the uneducated of the homeless, because they can’t make any money off them. That’s got to change.”
BRIAN GREEN
Knots Landing alumnus, starring in two new motion pictures: An American Summer and Kid: “I’d like the 90′s to be our ‘drug free’ decade. It’s a terrible waste, people who throw away their lives and their futures on drugs. I think we’ve got to reach the kids and not just tell them to ‘Just say no,’ but also show them how much they can do with their lives. If we can just convince kids how special they are and all the opportunity that’s available to them, help them develop their self-esteem when they’re young, I don’t think drugs would even be an alternative anymore. Because it’s not an alternative. It’s a loser’s way out, and a short cut to lots of misery and disaster.”
STEPHEN DORFF
Star of the TV-movie Do You Know The Muffin Man? and a recurring actor on Roseanne: “I would like to give something different to other kids with every role I play. I hope there is a message in everything I do.”
ALYSON HANNIGAN
Starring as Jessie on ABC’s Free Spirit: “My resolution for myself in the ’90s is to learn to keep my room clean. I work, I go to school, I play with my dog, I ride my horse, but cleaning my room is so far down on my list or priorities that it never gets done!”
